Celebrate Fatherhood Walk

On Saturday June 15th, in downtown Traverse City, we are inviting all men to join us in celebrating the importance of fathers in strengthening families and courageously shaping the future of our nation.

Starting at 12pm, a group of men from area churches will be hosting the first annual Celebrate Fatherhood Walk!

Meeting at St. Francis church parking lot on Union Street at 11:45am and ending at the Open Space in downtown Traverse City.  Following the walk will be a brief rally featuring a national men’s ministry speaker to inspire, encourage, and challenge us with a biblical vision of fatherhood.

The rally will begin approximately 12:45pm and should last less than one hour. The public is invited, all are welcome. This is a multi denominational event. Presentations will include an opening prayer by Reverend Michael Goers of Trinity Lutheran Church, Introductions by Robert Barnes, an address by guest speaker Al Juarez entitled, "Joseph the Carpenter, a tale of Unexpected Fatherhood", followed by an audience invitation to fellowship.
