Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is an initiative of Samaritan's Purse that aims to spread joy and hope to children in need around the world during the holiday season. Participants fill shoeboxes with gifts—such as toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and personal notes—and these boxes are then distributed to underprivileged children in various countries.
Each year, millions of shoeboxes are collected and delivered to children facing difficult circumstances, often in developing nations. The program not only provides tangible gifts but also shares a message of love and compassion, incorporating a simple Gospel message. The operation encourages volunteers and donors from all walks of life to get involved, fostering a spirit of generosity and community.
